Helen visiting Snowfields in 2022

Last week I wrote to Snowfields Academy to wish the a huge congratulations on their recent outstanding Ofsted rating.

They're a secondary school catering for students on the autistic spectrum, first set up in Bearsted in 2020. They've since opened a second site in Cranbrook, and have been doing absolutely wonderful work ever since they opened.

I went to visit them last year, and was blown away by the environment they've created - from the allotments to their wonderful student cafe. Pupils felt totally accepted and comfortable and I have no doubt it's giving them the very best start in life.

I'm so proud to have them locally, and a huge thank you to everybody there who’s helped make this a reality.
