We forced a vote in Parliament this week to protect hospices, charities, care providers and small businesses from Labour’s punishing jobs tax.
Parents in Faversham and Mid Kent have contacted me worried they won’t be able to afford the increase in nursery fees. I know local care providers who’ve also come to me concerned about how they’ll provide their services. Across the country, the jobs tax will force children’s hospices to face millions in extra costs as well as small charities and businesses.
I told Labour MPs to think long and hard before they vote to punish these organisations which many of us rely on. Sadly, they decided to vote in favour of their punishing jobs tax.
