Kemi Badenoch has focused her first major speech of 2025 on rebuilding trust in the Conservative Party. She emphasised that the Conservative Party is changing, that it is under new leadership, and it is back to serve you – the British people.

People contact me a lot about restoring trust in British politics and in the Conservative Party, so I thought it was important to share this speech as I know many people will be interested in it. She said the first step to restoring trust is to admit when we got things wrong, and we did. Now, we are going to do things differently.
