Helen at a fleecehold meeting.

'Fleecehold' (where management companies charge egregious fees on new housing estates) has got to stop.

That’s why I was pleased to support the Home Owners Rights Network meeting (known as Hornets) earlier this month in Parliament.

I am also meeting residents’ groups paying ‘fleecehold’ from across the constituency. I recently met residents from the Langley Park Residents Association to hear their grievances.

I am setting up a site visit with them, HML Property Management, Maidstone Borough Council and Taylor Wimpey to see who is responsible for what, and try and get things fixed while we are waiting for the Government to change the law.

If you are paying ‘fleecehold’ fees and would like me to visit your Residents Association and housing estate, please get in touch.

‘Fleecehold’ has got to stop – and I will keep fighting until it does.
