End Fleecehold Now

We need an urgent legal change to protect freeholders and leaseholders against ‘fleeceholder’ fees.

The last Government passed the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act which just needs some simple secondary legislation to put it into practice - but this Government keeps dragging its feet.

They are talking about another consultation and they won’t say when it will begin let alone end. People have had enough. This has been going on for far too long and there is no excuse for the Government’s failure to act.

I’ve written again to the Housing Minister asking when the Government plans to enable the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act to come into force – see my letter below.

I am not giving up and the Government has the Conservative Party's full backing to get on with this.
