Following the success of several ‘meet and greets’ in pubs, cafes and village halls in the new parts of my constituency, I am now hosting events across the whole of Faversham and Mid Kent.
My latest gathering was at Ledian Gardens Retirement Community in Leeds Village. As usual it was a great opportunity to get members of the community together in one room. I was delighted to have two borough councillors, Cllr Gill Fort and Cllr Gary Cooke, together with Bob China, the chair of Leeds Parish council.
We discussed everything from planning, healthcare, local road closures and the Leeds/Langley Relief Road to the economy and disparity in Council Tax bands and rates.
