"Minister, keep Kent's roads clean"

Following on from my recent survey of thousands of local residents, I have called on Highways England and the Department for Transport to tidy up Kent’s roads.

I am pleased that the Government is committed to providing excellent education opportunities for all our children, no matter where they live or what school they go to.

Children could miss school due to bus changes

Children from growing villages like Headcorn, Sutton Valence, Langley, should have at least two direct buses to school each morning so that they can have a good start to the day and don’t miss out on lessons or breakfast clubs.

We stand firm in the face of this attack

Speak up for better rail services for Kent

Commuters have been seriously let down by local rail services over the past few years. Although there have been some improvements in performance, we are still a long way off reliable rush hour trains which are good value for money.

Junior doctors moved from Kent and Canterbury hospital

I’m deeply disappointed to hear there's to be a reduction in the number of Junior Doctors at Kent and Canterbury Hospital as the Trust has been unable to recruit enough consultants to oversee their training.
